SEMESTER IS ALMOST OVER:)

WOW. This semester has dragged by to long. Longest semester ever. Maybe its because i had projects back to back thru out the whole semester and when your taking 3 classes and your projects are due on the exact same day and you dont have Photoshop or illustrator it kinda drags by. But on the plus side. Life didnt go quick this semester, dont know if thats a good thing or not.
I can not wait til christmas:) We are having a dinner on the 18th and its gonna be loads of fun. Last years went very well and i loved spending time with family. Santa is bringing Lou and Sam a toy story table with 2 chairs its so adourable. and so far lou is getting one of them Vtech cameras. It was really cheap, thank you blackfriday, and Sam is getting a toystory bike. Since toystory 3 has came out Sam LOVES toystory, and of course his favortie character on there is BUZZ. He watches that thing i know 3 times a day. But Santa aint done shopping yet for them. This year has been long for both of the boys. They are starting to miss Daddy like crazy and Lou has had 2 shunt revisions this year so they deff deserve some goodies for Christmas. I cant wait to see their faces on Christmas Morning. It was such joy watchin them last year opening gifts. Its gonna be soon teaching them the meaning about Christmas and why we celebrate it. Its gonna be fun. I am such in a Christmas Spirit. Oh and last wednesday Lou said he was gonna get me a hippopotamus for Christmas. He loves that song and i was singing it to him and he said "Amy I'll get you a hippopotamus" it was so adourable.

Its Thanksgiving Eve

OMGoodness its FINALLY here :) I can't wait until tomorrow. I get to see MOST of my family and im really excited to see them.
Lou and Sam was SOOO funny today yet very aggravating. They wanted to eat the BANANAS, VANILLA WAFFERS, and wanted to know what and wanted to eat the WHIPCREME. When i was looking for the blender today Lou was very sneeky and got a box of the vanilla waffers and sat on the couch and opened it VERY EASY so it wouldnt make a sound, *i have no clue how he did it since he only uses one hand* and stated eating some of them. I couldnt help but smile. SO i got a bowl and put like 10 in there for him. He really wanted them. I told them they can have them tomorrow :)
But Thanksgiving Eve has been a GREAT one. And i'm looking forward to tomorrow.

The Weather.

The weather here in SC has been so WEIRD these past few weeks. Some days would be warm other days would be freezing. Now today actually felt pretty good, high was about 75-80. But yesterday was FREEZING. I think Mother Nature needs to get it together. i mean like today it was really pretty and felt awesome. But as soon as 9:30pm came around it got cold again. I mean i want the warm weather all the time now. I love the cold but then again i hate it it might be because we dont have heat. i dunno. actually i know thats it. because in the winter time snugglin on the couch watchin the snow fall is peaceful. but freezin and watchin the snow fall is kinda peaceful but then again you can barely think because ur cold. Now me myself i can not think straight when im cold.

How is weather in ur neck of woods? Hope its warmer then down here SC :)

I WANT MEAT

i WANT meat.

i have gone about 3 weeks with out eating any meat except for saturday night i had a turkey burger, which i woke up hurtin sunday morning. And i had a turkey breast sub yesterday for lunch but other then that its been basically straight veggies.
I CAN NOT wait until i have my surgery. Eating pure veggies is starting to irritate me. but i did have a sandwich today, a tomato sandwich at that. But i cant eat it with mayonnaise so it wasnt the same.
I told momma that when i have this surgery done I will deff have some spaghetti that night or very soon after the surgery date.

September20th, 2010

So today at 5 am i woke up today with some major pain right underneath my ribcage and it was strecthin to my back. I took 5 ibuprofens, i played it safe and spaced em out by 30 mins, at the 5th time the pain kinda went down by a fourth. and then suddenly went down to 25 percent. I have never felt any kind of pain like that. I've had the pain before but not as chronic. People have been tellin me that its my gallbladder but i'm not to sure about it. I was goin to go to the ER but since i dont drive i didnt have a way. But i talked to my sister :) And she said she would take me next time i wake up in pain so momma doesnt have to bring my brothers out at 5am. It is now almost 9am and my pain has gone away for the most part. I can not wait until its gone for good. Please keep me in your prayers and i'll do the same for yal. May God bless you all.

Smells like rain!!!

A cold March wind danced around the dead of night in Dallas as the doctor walked into the small hospital room of Diana Blessing. She was still groggy from surgery.

Her husband, David , held her hand as they braced themselves for the latest news.
That afternoon of March 10, 1991, complications had forced Diana, only 24-weeks pregnant, to undergo an emergency Cesarean to deliver couple's new daughter, Dana Lu Blessing.
At 12 inches long and weighing only one pound nine ounces, they already knew she was perilously premature. Still, the doctor's soft words dropped like bombs. 'I don't think she's going to make it,' he said, as kindly as he could. 'There's only a 10-percent chance she will live through the night, and even then, if by some slim chance she does make it, her future could be a very cruel one' Numb with disbelief, David and Diana listened as the doctor described the devastating problems Dana would likely face if she survived.
She would never walk, she would never talk, she would probably be blind, and she would certainly be prone to other catastrophic conditions from cerebral palsy to complete mental retardation, and on and on. 'No! No!' was all Diana could say.
She and David, with their 5-year-old son Dustin, had long dreamed of the day they would have a daughter to become a family of four.
Now, within a matter of hours, that dream was slipping away.
But as those first days passed, a new agony set in for David and Diana. Because Dana 's underdeveloped nervous system was essentially 'raw', the lightest kiss or caress only intensified her discomfort, so they couldn't even cradle their tiny baby girl against their chests to offer the strength of their love. All they could do, as Dana struggled alone beneath the ultraviolet light in the tangle of tubes and wires, was to pray that God would stay close to their precious little girl.
There was never a moment when Dana suddenly grew stronger. But as the weeks went by, she did slowly gain an ounce of weight here and an ounce of strength there.
At last, when Dana turned two months old. Her parents were able to hold her in their arms for the very first time. And two months later, though doctors continued to gently but grimly warn that her chances of surviving, much less living any kind of normal life, were next to zero, Dana went home from the hospital, just as her mother had predicted.
Five years later, when Dana was a petite but feisty young girl with glittering gray eyes and an unquenchable zest for life. She showed no signs whatsoever of any mental or physical impairment. Simply, she was everything a little girl can be and more. But that happy ending is far from the end of her story
One blistering afternoon in the summer of 1996 near her home in Irving , Texas , Dana was sitting in her mother's lap in the bleachers of a local ball park where her brother Dustin's baseball team was practicing. As always, Dana was chattering nonstop with her mother and several other adults sitting nearby, when she suddenly fell silent. Hugging her arms across her chest, little Dana asked, 'Do you smell that?' Smelling the air and detecting the approach of a thunderstorm, Diana replied, 'Yes, it smells like rain.' Dana closed her eyes and again asked, 'Do you smell that?' Once again, her mother replied, 'Yes, I think we're about to get wet. It smells like rain.' Still caught in the moment, Dana shook her head, patted her thin shoulders with her small hands and loudly announced, 'No, it smells like Him. It smells like God when you lay your head on His chest.' Tears blurred Diana's eyes as Dana happily hopped down to play with the other children.
Before the rains came, her daughter's words confirmed what Diana and all the members of the extended Blessing family had known, at least in their hearts, all along. During those long days and nights of her first two months of her life, when her nerves were too sensitive for them to touch her, God was holding Dana on His chest and it is His loving scent that she remembers so well.

First and Second day of my classes :)

Well yesterday i started back at York Tech. I will have to drop my ARV 123 class because it said Am on it when i registered for it but it is actually a PM class. So now hopefully i will be able to do that class next semester or sign up for it in the next week. SO far all of the classes are booked
:( but so far my other classes are doin really good. I have Typography, graphic designs part 1 and introduction to the mac computers. So this semester is goin to go by smoothly :) Hopefully. But i have Mr. Gayk for two of my classes and Mr.Ward for my other class. Its goin to be a adventure but i think i will enjoy it :)

My uncles wedding 7-24-2010

At 7:00 my uncle and his wife Samantha got married at Eastwood Forest Baptist in NC. The wedding was Beautiful. My uncle and their son was in a WHITE tux :) Cody James was ADOURABLE.

The wedding party was dressed so nicely. The colors were beautiful :) Samantha picked out baby blue and baby pink. It was absolutely adourable.

The bride and groom was adourable!!! Samantha was SOOO Pretty and My uncle Gary was freash :)

The wedding was very beautiful and was one of the preetiest weddings i've seen in a VERY long time.

sensory problem, adhd, hydrocyphlus, cebrel palsy in ONE 4 year old

My little brother "Lou" has Hydrocyphlus, ADHD, Cebrel Palsy, and a BAD sensory problem. I love him to death but sometimes i just can't deal with it anymore. I feel like a need a short break all to myself before i go completely insane. He won't listen, he won't pay attention, he is constantly on the go ALL the time, and is always into something, and eats like crazy; its like he doesnt know when he is full, we have to keep him from over eating.

Do you know someone with some of them symptoms or just one or two. I need to find somethin that will occupy him for more then 1 minute at a time. Cause i know its got to be drivin him up the wall because he can't focuse on one thing for more then 2 mins at the most. I know it would drive me insane.

Whats your thoughts on the sensory problem child, adhd child, the cebrel palsy child and/or the hydrocyphlus child *most people knows them as a waterhead*

Do you know any activities i could try with him or how to entertain him or even to make him feel comfortable when he is at his worst of the day???

any advice would be VERY appreciative.

Lou had to have surgery AGAIN

So on June 4th at 12:20 pm Lou started complaining about his head hurting again :( He then said the had to *Puke* he went to the bathroom and it was a watery liquid and whitish, i saw the color and said "OH NO NOT AGAIN" I tried calling momma after i got Lou calmed down and The dispatch person said that she was already gone, great i have a screaming 4 year old and his momma aint at work she has no number where i could reach her what do i do?
So i waited i laid down with Lou got him calmed down then 10 mins later momma pulled in the drive way YAY. i get to go to sleep now, right? Wrong i tell momma how Lou is doin and she says well it sounds like the Shunt again (Ya think thats why i told you)
15 Mins went by and Lou was still compalining about his head hurting. So we went up to CMC Levine Hospital for Children. This was about 2:00 am we got there at 2:18am. We went in they took us back almost immediately and gave Lou a CT and it confirmed that his Shunt malfunctioned again (4 months later after the last one was put in)
They admitted Lou at about 5:30am and we seen MaClanahan at about 7:30am. He said that he will have to have surgery again and he can not let him be released until it is fixed. So we stayed there. At 11:30 we ate lunch and then gave Lou and Sam and me of course a nap :) I was tired. up 27 hours straight, i am NOT youst to that anymore.
And after 3 hours of a wonderful nap i woke up and saw my sister and her fiance sitting up there. while they was up there MaClanahan came in there and said that the surgery will either be tomorow morning or tomorrow evening. speaking of Saturday sometimes. Momma said well great My oldest Son is graduating that morning so of couse momma had to miss the graduation due to Lou having to have surgery again, Nick understood perfectly.
So Saturday Mourning Daddy and Lynn showed up at the hosptial and Lou just got tickled to death. at 6:30 they brought Lou to the operation room and put him to sleep using the sleepin gas, they started IV and off to work they went.
The surgery went well they got done at about 9:30am. They used the same size shunt but used a bigger tube and put in a Shunt Accesory so the shunt wouldnt have to pump so hard.
That afternoon; me, amber, clint, samantha, cody, jerry, and grandma, and nick, daddy and lynn went up to the hospital and surprised Lou and Nick with Nicks graduation cake. They were surprised but Lou was in some pain and wanted momma and Daddy the whole time, and he wanted to see Cody James also.
He is now home, he got to come home on the 6th of June and has been wired up ever since. He is now watching TV and playing some by his self. I dont know if thats the surgery or what made him start doing that. But he has some really good improvements.
He goes next wednesday on the 16th of June to see Amy Kelly for a CT to see if everything is still fine :)

Semester is OVERRR

I am so glad this semester is over :] Next semester SHOULD be a walk in the park. I am finally starting my actual courses that i need to get my digital design certificate I wish i could get the associate but unfortunally York Tech does not offer that. But I am excited for next semester to start and actually learning about PRINTING .Its gonna be exciting. I have a few stuff that i did in high school but that was 4 and 5 years ago. So we'll see how much stuff i remember and how much stuff that i don't.

Easter 2010 :)

I am so thankful for Easter. I know that Jesus Christ died for my sins and took my place on the Cross :)

On friday i went to my Grandma Sheets and i spent the weeked with them :) I was with my little 9 year old cousin and she made the time go by SOOO fast. She showed me the animals like 50 times it seems like but we had fun. She made a *Omelette* out of Twigs, pine-needls, a big piece of bark for the base. She "put" tomatoes, onions, eggs, bacon, and some other stuff on it. She's got a BIG imagination. We went to walmart Friday night and she took me to the toys and she showed me ALL the toys she had. I learned that her favorite color is PURPLE and BLUE and that she HATES the color PINK. Emily is a mess. but she made the time go by sooo fast. She loves to eat Pizza and Ice-Cream. i mean what kid doesnt lol.
On Saturday She took me back down to see the animals (2 donkeys, 2 bulls, and 1 goat.). We dyed a dozen eggs for her and her sister Brooklyn, Brook for short or Big-B as emily cause her. After we dyed eggs we watched some cartoon on TV i want to say Bob the Builder but im not to sure. But after the Cartoon went off we hid som Plastic eggs that she had over from last year. I hid them first and then she hid them. Seein her face when she fount the eggs were priceless. Its like a baby tastin a sucker for the first time. Then at about 6pm we kicked and threw the ball to each other. it was awesome. We watched White Fang (It was my first time seeing the movie and it was awesome i loved it :] )We also sung songs to see if each other knew what it was. She was surpised when she fount out i know who Elvis was lol. WOW i thought but it was awesome spending the weekend with her.
On Sunday. We wnt to the animals AGAIN. she loves it down there but it was peaceful and quiet and i got to spend tim with my little cousin so i guess it was worth it :) We then hid eggs again with the plastic eggs :) and once again her little face lit up again when she fount the eggs. after that we watched Dragon tales, and The perfect murder; i know its not really a Easter movie but it was good Emily wanted to watch it so we did. She liked it to i think. Then i left at 1:45 pm. Then dropped my brother off at my Daddys Had a ball there I took Sam to see the *Horsees* but they werent out :(
but he seen a cat and was fine with that. Check my photos blog i'll be postin some pics there :)

My Neice Aiyana!!!

So one of my first blogs i posted was about my nieces: Addison and Aiyana. Well Aiyaya was due on Saturday on the 2oth of March. And she still isnt here yet. SHE NEEDS TO HURRY UP. But she will arrive when God says Aiyana let it begin lol. But I can't wait until my little niece gets here. She's gonna be so cute :) Her name is goin to be Aiyana Michelle. She is gonna be spoiled rotten to :] If you look over to the left you will see her ultrasound at about 21 weeks. She was so active during her ultrasound according to her mommy aka my sister Kayla. And above the ultrasound is a collage i made for her which is a picture of kayla pregnant at about 23 weeks then aiyanas ultrasound picture then the 3rd pic is of Kayla pregnant with Aiyana sitting down at her babyshower at about 35 weeks. I am so proud of Kayla. She's been thru so much but she still has the time to take care of her self and she's still with the babys father and worked right up to her duedate. Friday was her last day until after the babys born and the rest of her maternity leave is up. Aiyanas momma is Cherokee Indian and White, and her Daddy is Black, Cherokee Indian, and White. So her competion should be and will be SOOO Pretty. Aiyana isnt even here yet and i havent held her for the first time but i already care for her SOOOO MUCHO :)

Footprints in the Sand

First and foremost God is Awesome. He is there for me when i need him and he is there when nobody wants to listen. He is always there. Which brings me back to my favorite story about goin thru our troubles::

Footpints in the Sand:

One night a man had a dream.
He dreamed he was walking
Along the beach with the Lord.

Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene,
He noticed two sets of footprints in the sand,
One belonging to him, and the other to the Lord.

When the last scene of his life flashed before him,
He looked back at the footprints in the sand.
He noticed that many times along the path of his life
There was only one set of footprints.
He also noticed that it happened
At the very lowest and saddest times in his life.


This really bothered him
And he questioned the Lord about it.
"Lord, You said that once I decided to follow You,

During the most troublesome times in my life,
There is only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why when I needed

Danny and Megans Wedding.

On feb 27, 2010 my cousin Danny got married to his Heaven sent fiance Megan. They had their wedding at 3 oclock in the evening. Megan looked absolutely beautiful.They had a wonderful wedding and it was so adourable. Their cake looked amazing.

Everything was perfect from the lighting where they exchanged vows and everything. They just had a beautful wedding :)

strange...

SO yesterday was goin kinda bad but then i got a text from a guy i youst to talk to, its like my whole day turned completely around. It was the first time i've talken to him in about a year and 2 months. Its kinda strange. Yes i fell in love with him but that was also strange because i've never seen him in person. just talked on the phone and texted each other. I met him over mocospace.com he's very sweet and he's in college and lives on a farm with his grandma.
Its strange how someone can make you feel with out even seein them in person. but anyways. I thought it was strange after gettin his text how my WHOLE day changed. My brothers were even being good for a change. But like i said before... God knows when you are goin thru a rough patch and he knows that you will make it through, even if he gives you a boost now and then ♥. But thats on my mind right now and figured i'd share it :)☺

ONE OF THE WORSEST DAY EVER SO FAR.

Life is getting really stressful for me. I think its my schedule it NEVER changes and i need a change or somethin added to it or atleast some help. Today i just started crying for no reason. Life is gettin to hard for me to handle but i know i will overcome this rocky path in my life. I know it will get better.

I have a God that is there for me and i can come to him anytime i want to and talk to him anythime i feel like it. I have grandmas that are ALWAYS there for me. I have my wonderful amazing Church members that cares for me and prays for me on a daily basics.

I dont know, today was just hard. I feel ike i need a big long break from life, my brothers, and atleast just get out of the house for a week or two.

And its not just my schedule thats stressing me out its my MATH and ENGLISH classes. I am makin a VERY low grade in math and my english teacher gave us a paper assisnment and she gave us very little directions on how to do the paper. How am i suppost to write a paper without how she wants it?? anyways heres my schedule.

1. 6am: wake up to get ready for class
2. 7am: leave for school
3. 8am: math 101 starts
4. 9:30 am: Col 101 starts.
5. 11:00am: English 101 starts
6. 12:15pm come home feed my brother Sam and put him to bed.
7. 2:40pm Momma leaves. Watching the boys begin.
8. 3-4pm: Lou's EIP comes by to work with Lou.
9. 4:25pm: Nick comes home. Drama starts
10. 5pm: start cookin supper for the brothers.
11. 6pm: feed the boys normally dinner is fixed.
12. 7Pm: give boys a bath.
13. 7:30pm: puttin the boys down for the night
14. 8pm: still fighting them down.
15. 9: boys normally asleep time to clean up before momma gets home.
16. 11pm: Study, cram, homework, whatever needs to be done for school.

So you see my schedule is crammed full!!! I need a BREAK!!!

My little brother had to have surgery :(

He started gettin sick and some clear liquid came up it looked alot like water and he would scream and say my head hurts. It happend like 3 days and then we took him to his pediatrictian and they said it might be from a virus that he had before but we didnt know about it but they really didnt know for sure but said to take him and see his neurosurgeon next time it happens, that was on Thrusday. and Friday at about 6:30 Pm lou started screaming again saying his head hurt i gave him a half a dose of motrin *he wouldnt take the other half* and he fell asleep.Then Saturday mourning he started gettin sick again and complaining about his head hurting so momma called the emergency line for maclanahans office and the nurse said to take him up to the hospital because somethin isnt right. Then at 1 he got a CT done and it confirmed his shunt is bad. So at about 4 he went into surgery and out by 6:30 he did great but he was in a lot of pain so they gave him some morphine and some other pain medicine.Then at 4 this mournin they gave him another CT and it showed it started bleeding today and if it dont stop then they will have to do more surgery. They are goin to look for signs thou. they probably arent gonna do another CT unless they really have to because he is so young and they dont want the radiation to hurt him. He got to come home Monday, Feb8, 2010 :) He was fine that night. But on Tuesday evening he started complaining about his head hurting and felt like he was gonna get sick but no visual effect. Momma called the nurse that night and said that it is normal for his head to hurt since he got 15 stiches for the shunt and to switch back from tylenol and motrin for the pain he also ran fever that night and the nurse said that was normal as well. So far so good :) PRAISE GOD :)
